Cannabidiol, or CBD, is one of the most studied cannabinoids, or chemical compounds, in the cannabis plant. From anti-psychotic treatment to an aid for counteracting side effects of chemotherapy, CBD possesses both mental and physical healing properties.
CBD can be taken in many forms, including smoking CBD flower or vape cartridges, applying a topical cream, or eating food and candy infused with CBD oil. Individuals who are trying CBD for the first time may find tinctures especially favorable, which is probably why our CBD VG Tincture is our best-selling product.
About CBD VG Tincture
With an average rating of 5 stars, users have reported this tincture helping with an array of ailments and conditions. Our CBD hemp oil tincture is 100% organic – we only use three ingredients: vegetable glycerin, natural flavors, and CBD. Users rate it good for:
- Aid in cancer treatment
- Joint pain
Sacred Leaf’s CBD VG tincture comes either completely THC-free or full-spectrum, which means it can contain up to 0.3% THC. But keep in mind that this is not enough to give you any psychoactive effects associated with the THC compound, and the high concentrations of CBD present work to further nix those effects. Full-spectrum CBD oil comes from the cannabis plant rather than hemp, so it is still classified as a Schedule I substance according to the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Controlled Substance Act. Therefore, please note that it is not available in Kansas, Iowa, or Texas due to state laws restricting their sale.
How to Use Your Tincture
CBD VG Tinctures are versatile and can be used in any of three ways:
- Soluble in water – mix it in your drink
- Take it as a sublingual tincture (drops under your tongue)
- Vaporize your CBD oil
This one product offers three methods to help manage pain and relieve anxiety, and is a great alternative medicine for those looking for quick and easy relief.
Tinctures in Drinks:
Mixing our tincture into a drink seems to be the most popular method of ingestion, as it is available in many different flavors. Here are some drinks to try:
- Chocolate tincture in your morning coffee
- Lemon tincture in sparkling water
- Raspberry tincture hot or iced tea
Tinctures can also be taken sublingually, or by placing the dose directly under the tongue. This allows the tincture to work faster than mixing it into a drink (in about 15-45 minutes) because of its fast absorption through the arterial blood supply found underneath the tongue.
Because our tincture is made using vegetable glycerin, it can easily be vaped using a vape pen. Use the dropper to fill a vape cartridge with your tincture (we suggest a flavored tincture for the best vaping experience – mint is a favorite!). This may not be the ideal ingestion method for first-time CBD users, but this is the best method for those who need immediate relief, making it popular for those trying to settle an upset stomach (such as a cancer patient being treated with chemotherapy).

CBD tinctures are concentrated, so we suggest small doses of 0.5 ml twice daily – this is marked on the bottle’s dropper. If mixing in a drink, stir in 8 ounces of liquid.
Each bottle is batch tested, with information available to the public under the “Lab Result” tab of our website menu. Check the bottom of the bottle for your batch number, and easily search that number for specific information about your tincture.
